Proyecto de Ley Orgánica de eficiencia organizativa del servicio público de Justicia, por la que se modifica la Ley Orgánica 6/1985, de 1 de julio, del Poder Judicial, para la implantación de los Tribunales de Instancia y las Oficinas de Justicia en los municipios

RESUMEN El Consejo de Ministros ha aprobado en abril de 2022 el proyecto de ley de eficiencia organizativa del servicio público de justicia que se encuentra en tramitación parlamentaria.

La nueva ley se sustenta en tres figuras fundamentales -los Tribunales de Instancia, la Oficina Judicial y las Oficinas de Justicia en los municipios- que impulsan la territorialidad, la digitalización y el acceso igualitario a la Justicia.

Así, habrá un tribunal de instancia en cada partido judicial con sede en la capital, de la que tomará el nombre. Se configura su organización por secciones, variable en función del volumen de asuntos y actividad que se concentra en el partido judicial.

Por otro lado, se completará el proceso de implantación de la Oficina Judicial en todo el territorio nacional. Será una ventanilla de acceso único a la justicia para la ciudadanía.

Asimismo, con la nueva norma, los juzgados de paz se transforman en Oficinas de Justicia en los municipios, fortaleciendo la presencia de la Justicia en todo el territorio, luchando contra la despoblación en zonas rurales y acercando el servicio público de Justicia a la ciudadanía.

En las Oficinas de Justicia se podrán celebrar juicios telemáticos, diligencias judiciales o conexiones por videoconferencia con los colegios profesionales, entre otras diligencias administrativas, ahondando en la reducción de los desplazamientos y, en última instancia, reduciendo el impacto medioambiental.

The Council of Ministers has approved in April 2022 the draft law on the organizational efficiency of the public justice service, which is currently in parliamentary procedure. The new law is based on three fundamental figures - the Courts of Instance, the Judicial Office and the Justice Offices in the municipalities - which promote territoriality, digitalization and equal access to Justice.
